Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Expertise in procedures, protocols, techniques involved with audiological assessment and hearing aid selection, fitting, counseling and maintenance provided in a private practice setting to ages 4 years to older adults. Majority of services will be provided to patients on Medicaid and to Veterans. Accuracy, efficiency and timeliness of all procedures, progress notes and reports to be demonstrated.
