Our clinic offers a wide range of audiological services. Diagnostic testing includes comprehensive audiometric evaluations, Neurodiagnostic Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), Videonystagmography (VNG), Electrocochleography (EcochG), and intraoperative facial nerve monitoring for acoustic neuroma removal surgeries. Our Doctors of Audiology also treat hearing loss with hearing aids (4 of the main 6 companies), osseointegrated devices (all companies), cochlear implants (all 3 manufacturers), assisted listening devices, hearing protection, etc. A student will have a great opportunity to observe in clinic with Dr. John T. McElveen, Jr., MD, a neurotologist, to see the patient through the entire hearing healthcare process. Our Doctors of Audiology are also involved with various research studies. Community outreach and group rehabilitation is very important. Assist with annual camp for children with hearing loss.
