Sound Health Services, P.C. is the largest, privately owned, ENT doctor, Audiology, Speech Pathology and Allergy practice with 15 offices in the St. Louis Metro area.
Our practice features state-of-the-art care for ear, nose, and throat problems, hearing loss, vestibular problems, environmental allergies, sinus, and head and neck surgery. There are 25 physicians, 6 SLP's, and 18 Audiologists.
Our Audiology Division includes 18 Masters or Doctoral Level Audiologists and we offer a variety of audiological services, including but not limited to:
Diagnostic Audiology both pediatric and adult
Hearing Aid Evaluations and Fittings
A complete Dizziness and Balance division with tests including VNG, ABR, VEMP, Electrocochleography, and Positional Maneuvers.
Cochlear Implant and Implantable Devices Team

Our site expects the student to have mastered audiologic evaluations of adults and pediatrics as well as have some experience with hearing aid fitting, repair and adjustments. Must have strong interest in the vestibular system.
During your externship, it is expected that you will become proficient in Audiologic evaluations, hearing aid fittings, repairs and adjustments, and have a strong knowledge base for vestibular and neurodiagnostic audiology testing.
Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
Our site expects the student to have mastered audiologic evaluations of adults and pediatrics as well as have some experience with hearing aid fitting, repair and adjustments. Knowledge of the vestibular system with at least 1 rotation performing vestibular work throughout your schooling is very beneficial.
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
During your externship, it is expected that you will become proficient in Audiologic evaluations, hearing aid fittings, repairs and adjustments, and have a strong knowledge base of vestibular and neurodiagnostic audiology testing.
