We have an opening for a 2017-2018 Audiology 4th year externship at Georgia Hearing Center, in Athens, Georgia. We are associated with an extremely busy ENT practice (ENT of Athens).
We are a team of 4 full time Au.D.audiologists. Our clinic setting is located in an ENT practice with 5 ENT physicians. We provide adult and pediatric audiologic evaluations, vestibular assessments (VNG, ECOG, Hallpike testing, and Canalith Repositioning), hearing aid assessments and programming, auditory brainstem response testing (in the office and under sedation at the local hospital), as well as osseointegrated auditory device programming and assessment (Baha & Ponto). Note: We do not fit pediatric hearing aids.
As far as location goes, Athens is a great place to live. You may know Athens as the home of the University of Georgia and Georgia Bulldogs, the “Classic City of the South” where rich tradition at the heart of a hip college town creates a culture unlike any other.
