We are currently seeking a 4th year externship position for a busy ENT practice located in Greenville, NC. We are a busy 8 physician ENT clinic with one audiologist and two full time OTO-techs. We are dedicated to working with students. The audiologist on staff is ASHA certified.
Must be eligible to begin externship as per audiology program guidelines.
Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
-Ability to complete basic audiometric evaluation -Ability to complete immittance measurements -Knowledge of basic amplification measurements -Knowledge of real ear verification measurements -Ability to work in a team enviornment
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
-Mastery of comprehensive audiometric evaluation -Mastery of immittance measurements -Mastery of hearing aid evaluations, fittings, adjustments -Mastery of real ear verification measurements -Mastery of VNG testing
