Cochlear Implant Audiologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital
The Listening Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking a full-time cochlear implant audiologist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team of surgeons, audiologists, speech language pathologists, Deaf educators, psychiatrists, and a nurse practitioner.
Johns Hopkins Department of Otolaryngology is rated #1 in US News and World Report rankings. The Listening Center at Johns Hopkins, one of the largest implant programs in the country is a fast-paced outpatient clinic with opportunities available for research, teaching, mentoring, unique clinical experiences, and becoming an expert in the field of cochlear implants.
Responsibilities include programming and troubleshooting of Cochlear, Advanced Bionics, and MedEl devices, basic diagnostic audiology; conducting pre-implant assessments, FM fittings and verifications, hearing aid and earmold maintenance, and intra-operative testing of adults and pediatrics.
Previous cochlear implant experience is desired, but all applicants will be considered. Qualified applicants should have a strong commitment to excellence. Opportunities for participating in research are readily available to interested applicants.

Must have graduated (no 4th year externs will be accepted)
Previous CI experience preferred
Must be eligible for ASHA certification and Maryland State licence
