We are looking for a driven, smart, and personable 4th year audiology extern for our private audiology practice in north Dallas/Fort Worth.
During your externship year you can expect to work and learn under skilled audiologists while developing autonomous clinical skills. Experiences that you will have during your externship will include:
Diagnostic hearing testing
Fitting, programming, troubleshooting, and counseling for hearing aids
Hearing aid sales
Community hearing screenings and health fairs
Vestibular diagnostics including VNG and virtual reality dynamic posturography
Working in partnership with in-house vestibular therapists
Audiology practice management and marketing
This position is for 4th year audiology externs.
Preferred experience includes:
Hearing aid programming and troubleshooting
Vestibular diagnostic testing
