Clinical Audiologist needed by multi-office ENT practice located in Phoenix, AZ. Competitive salary and benefits offered. Position does require travel between offices.
Testing skills should include air and bone conduction, tympanometry, speech testing, acoustic reflexes, OAE’s, sound field and play audiometry for younger or more difficult to test patients. Other diagnostic evaluations include the administration and interpretation of the Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) test, Electrocochleography (ECOG), Electronystagmography (VNG), CI evaluation and programming a plus.
The Audiologist must be knowledgeable about hearing aids and have the ability to counsel the patient regarding available hearing instruments and/or assistive listening devices, dispense and fit the appropriate amplification instrument, and provide minor repairs and modifications for hearing aids as necessary.
Provide accurate and reliable audiological testing in a timely manner
Schedule, authorize, and complete any special testing requested by the physicians
Must be able to communicate clearly in English. Requires the ability to speak, read, write, see and hear to perform essential duties of the job. Requires logical thinking and understanding to analyze problems. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient information. Effective and positive human relation skills are required
Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree preferred but will consider Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Audiology from an accredited program.
