Externship opportunity at a well-established Ear, Nose & Throat private practice. Our office includes 6 audiologists, 7 physicians, & 4 advanced practice providers throughout three offices.
This fast-paced environment will provide an opportunity to work with all ages and prepare you for your career at any future facility!
Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
- Puretone & speech audiometry including a strong proficiency in masking skill - Immittance audiometry including reflex testing - OAE testing - Word processing & basic computer skills - Ability to establish rapport with patients
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
- VNG testing - ABR testing - Hearing aid & Baha fittings
Primary Practice Setting:
ENT group practice
Number of Audiology Students each year:
0 1st year AuD Clinical Rotations 1 2nd year 1 3rd year 1 4th year Externships
Does the externship site provide orientation to relevant clinical policies and procedures?

Pediatric evaluations: school-age
Adult hearing evaluations
Auditory processing evaluations
Evoked potential assessments
Intra-operative monitoring cases
Hearing aids dispensed
Hearing aid selection/fitting
Audiologic rehabilitation (group or individualized)
Cochlear implant evaluations
Cochlear implant rehabilitation
Continuing education opportunities?
Travel to satellite centers required?
