We are growing and need your expertise. Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Audiology Department announces the immediate availability for an audiology faculty position. Applicants with a Ph.D. in Audiology or Communication Sciences are desired, but those who are ABD or hold a similar doctoral degree, such as an AuD, will be considered. Applicants are expected to have a strong background in and dedication to scholarly activity, teaching, service and to interact well with colleagues and students.
NSU is a private, not-for-profit, dynamic research institution with more than 22,000 students at the undergraduate, graduate and first-professional degree levels. The Audiology Department is a part of the NSU Health Professions Division along with other first-professional degree programs such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Optometry. The department is currently in its 16th year of offering the on-campus Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree. It also is the home of the state-of-the-art Audiology Clinic.
Applicant responsibilities include teaching, scholarship and service. Teaching includes both didactic and/or clinical precepting. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. If your primary interest is clinical precepting, then five years of experience is preferred.
