The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Allied Health Sciences at East Carolina University (ECU) invites applications for a full time, fixed-term, 12-month audiologist at the title of Clinical Instructor serving within our Doctor of Audiology program.
The expected clinical caseload may consist of, but is not limited to:
Diagnostic audiologic evaluations
Cochlear implant evaluations and mapping
Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Clinical education of graduate audiology students
Mentored instruction of an audiology course, based on expertise
Primary clinical responsibilities will be delivered in the ECU Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic. In addition, the position may include off-campus clinical practice and supervision at contracted sites. Patient care will continue when students are on university breaks or in classes.

The ECU Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic is equipped with three state-of-the-art sound booths and six audiology consultation rooms. Our department is housed within the College of Allied Health Sciences on the medical campus, and is adjacent to the College of Nursing, Dental School, Brody School of Medicine, and Vidant Medical Center.
East Carolina University (nearly 29,000 students) is located in Greenville, North Carolina (population of 89,000).
