We are looking for an energetic 4th year audiology extern to work with us for the May/June 2018 - May/June 2019 year
Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
Fundamentals of hearing evaluations (children and adults), vestibular testing, and electrophysiological testing. Fundamentals of hearing aid selection/fitting/reprogramming
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Proficiency in hearing evaluations, vestibular testing, and electrophysiological testing for patients of all ages. Proficiency in hearing aid selection/fitting/reprogramming Proficiency in the evaluation and treatment of tinnitus, misophonia, and hyperacusis A well-rounded understanding of implantable hearing aids as well as the candidacy/testing/programming
