•Clinical audiology best practices for testing, hearing aid consultations, dispensing, and follow-up, aural rehabilitation, tinnitus management, and cerumen removal.

•Curiosity and willingness to learn through continuing education, workshops, and research opportunities
•Master's degree in audiology, Au.D. preferred
•Holds a permanent license in Audiology from the State Board of Examiners Office for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists
•Holds a permanent license for the fitting and dispensing of hearing aids from the State Board of Medical Examiner
•A minimum of two years of professional experience (preferred) equivalent to an audiologist; prior experience selling hearing aids in an Audiology/dispensing practice
•Considerable knowledge of the methods used to detect and correct hearing disorders, the pathology of hearing disorders and the instructional methods used
•Ability to administer complete audiology evaluations, hearing aid selections and fitting, hearing aid evaluations and rehabilitation.
•Ability to operate audiometric equipment and to interpret the results
•Ability to communicate diagnostic test results and interpret and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients
