Responsibilities include ensuring that the open house schedule is fully booked 1 week prior to the event, by working with both the clinic staff and marketing representative.
During clinic open house event, the specialist will utilize the Best Way to Better Hearing to determine lifestyle needs to sell appropriate Widex hearing aid technology. The specialist will work in tandem with the licensed provider in the clinic, to ensure that the process from testing to the demonstration is conducted in a manner according to clinical best practice protocols and applicable state and federal laws.
Provide counseling and obtain pertinent information prior to and during the evaluation. Document all clinical notes according to clinical protocols in tandem with the licensed provider.
Participate in a minimum of 3 Clinic Events per month, or a minimum of 36 Clinic events per year
May include clinic Provider in selling process as sales training, as deemed appropriate by Regional Director
Counsel patients on financing options
Explain warranty programs, repair prices and battery information
Oversee regulatory compliance, including OSHA infection control regulations and HIPAA regulations. Must maintain active Audiology/Dispensing license.
Experience and Skills Required:
Knowledge of software systems including: Sycle, NOAH, and Widex fitting software
Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently with hearing impaired and their families.
Utilization of resources to enhance the patient journey include (but not limited to) developing relationship with Clinical Ambassador, working with Widex training staff, collaborating with regional and corporate team.
Patient journey oriented
Must be able to attend trainings as needed. Travel to Clinic events 80% time
5 years or more of dispensing with proven hearing aid sales history and the ability to coordinate travel efficiently.
Licensed Hearing Instrument Provider OR
Master of Audiology or Doctorate of Audiology
Active and current dispensing license preferred
