Belsono Management Group a continually-growing hearing health practice management company and provider, headquartered in Mountain Lakes, NJ, with 180+ patient clinics in the Eastern & Midwestern US, has an immediate full-time opportunity for an ambitious, business-smart responsible Regional Manager to lead existing and recently acquired/newly-opened assigned area clinics. We’ll challenge and support you to continually lead your regional locations to ever-increasing revenue, profitability, high team and operational success. The position reports to our NJ HQ-based Vice-President of Sales.
Region includes: Missouri, Indiana, Tennessee, and Michigan.
We’re looking for:
Experienced hearing health practitioners with an excellent history of clinic growth and patient care, and
Proven regional sales professionals (preferably healthcare) with demonstrated accountability, skills and a strong profitability growth record while managing a multi-location territory.
Your Primary Duties will include(but are not limited to):
ENCOURAGE/DELIVER INCREASED REVENUE RESULTS WHILE MANAGING REGIONAL CLINICS OFFERING EXCECPTIONAL PATIENT SOLUTIONS AND CARE.
Understand, review, assess, and analyze current sales profitability performance of assigned regional clinics (by location and area), with assistance from already-known information. Discuss and agree on regional action and growth plan, including marketing strategies or planned events, for clinics in assigned area.
Visit all clinics within assigned region initially and then periodically thereafter; observe/oversee operational approach and efficacy, including patient flow, record accuracy/privacy, inventory and insurance processes; communicate objectives and note concerns from onsite staff; evaluate and recommend needed actions; handle implementation of approved changes, with any necessary home office functional support.
Understand/assess current talents of staff and recommend steps to strengthen/supplement abilities for new business growth; deliver and/or arrange strong coaching/counseling, and training/development of team.
Actively propose/review/communicate annual budget to assigned regional clinics; negotiate changes as needed; communicate finalized expectations.
Regularly review, analyze and provide planned location and region performance vs. budgeted target update reports to VP Sales, President, CEO, & CFO.
Work closely with vendor reps to strengthen all growth outcomes and ensure thorough product training.
Explore new business opportunities, local market outreach, untapped prospects, recoverable business, etc.
Lead onsite new acquisition/office opening integration orientation in coordination with other internal staff.
Reinforce/interpret/explain and serve up suggested changes to company policies and procedures as site-encountered experiences warrant.
As possible, participate/assist with/be present at patient events, workshops or as other local employee-related situations warrant; work with other home office internal functions to coordinate as necessary.
Stand in, as authorized and appropriate, for local hearing care professionals as needed.
Increasingly grow sales and efficient location management, with an encouraging spirit and care for our patients and, equally as important, our employees.
Participate actively in the selection of clinic staff and coordinate initial onsite training and onboarding process.
Implementation of new patient and employee-focused programs, systems, procedures and policies.
Aggressively participate in industry events for professional growth, company presence, proactive networking.
Extensive frequent travel within region required (50-75%); periodic visits to the NJ home office also. Expenses reimbursed as approved. May not need to relocate to service region, depending upon current location.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.
4 year business-relevant college degree; healthcare industry professional designation/focus preferred.
At least 7 years direct experience working in either a patient service healthcare or consumer sales role, the last 3 of which involved successful management oversight/growth responsibility for a multi-location region; strong liaison and advocate for field locations while balancing within total company plans.
Strong understanding of sales techniques, marketing strategies, revenue forecasting and budgeting process/financial results measures; familiarity with small office P&L analysis and ways to increase business and streamline/reduce cost.
Hands-on location acquisition integration skills necessary; ability to transition or open new locations with organized operational plan.
Proven ability to assess staff talent skills, enhance them, counsel employees, make tough recommendations/decisions when needed; experience with both talent selection and termination.
Superior communication skills, on all levels, with internal and external relationships; ability to handle unexpected situations with composure; public speaking or presentation delivery a plus.
Direct knowledge of hearing products and patient care or an inherent passion for embracing both quickly.
Current proficiency with Microsoft Office products; experience with varied CRM/sales tracking systems req’d.
Ability to travel extensively, often, unexpectedly, within reasonable cost reimbursement guidelines.
