Division of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
SIU School of Medicine, Division of Otolaryngology/ Hearing & Balance Clinic is recruiting a licensed Audiologist. This position will administer a variety of clinical tests designed to assess the auditory system at various levels throughout the auditory system on patients of all ages, coordinate audiometric results with other diagnostic data, provide audiologic clinic support to ENT physicians and mid-level providers, counsel hearing impaired patients and families about the effects of hearing loss and tinnitus, dispense and provide follow up services for hearing aids and assistive devices using current fitting techniques and rationales, and participate in community education programs on hearing loss and tinnitus. Applicants must possess a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) or equivalent, maintain a Certificate of Clinical Competency, CCC-A, in Audiology from the American Speech and Hearing Association, and be able to be licensed in the State of Illinois. 1. Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) or equivalent
