Glens Falls Hospital’s Rehabilitation Services professionals are committed to restoring and enhancing patients’ individual capacities, so they can maximize the possibilities for living full, independent lives. Using a patient-centered approach, patients of all ages may receive physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy in the inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing, and homecare settings.
Our staff consists of three full time audiologist and a hearing aid dispenser with services including, full diagnostic audiological assessment, vestibular evaluation, hearing aid dispensing, newborn screenings, FM services and central auditory processing assessment, and tinnitus assessment.
As a regional hospital, we offer the latest technology in hearing aids including streaming devices, tinnitus maskers and Bluetooth technology. We work with a variety of hearing aid companies to offer diverse options in hearing aids.
Doctorate Degree (AuD) in Audiology or fourth year student in externship program
No clinical experience needed
Knowledge of audiology methods and techniques in one or more specialty areas
Knowledge of current hearing aid technology/design and programming
NYS Licenses- Audiologist
NYS registration- Hearing Aid Dealer
CPR (or within 6 months)
Valid NYS Driver’s License for travel between sites for the provision of care and meetings
