The Cherry Blossom capital is calling all audiology 4th year students! We have two openings for driven individuals who are looking for a fast paced ENT setting where they will provide services to patients from infancy to geriatrics in all areas of audiology. As a 4th year student you will learn everything from hearing evaluations, VNG, electrocochleography, cochlear implant evaluations and mappings, auditory brainstem response testing, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, auditory processing evaluations, and custom hearing protection.
Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
Before starting the 4th year externship, we would like the student to be fully confident in completing a comprehensive audiogram, tympanometry and taking a case history.
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
We expect the students to come ready to learn with a teamwork mentality. We would like students to come with a solid knowledge of the hearing and balance system.

Yes Our practice has two locations; Macon and Warner Robins. The drive is an easy 20 minute drive on interstate 75.
