The Hearing Group of New Mexico is a medically-based, independent, and locally owned audiology practice located in Albuquerque, NM. Our practice provides high-quality, comprehensive hearing care for children and adults serving a diverse clientele. The practice consists of two offices in Albuquerque, NM, and a part-time satellite location in Los Lunas, NM. We are currently searching for a PT/FT audiologist to join our professional team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Emphasis on diagnostic hearing evaluations for both adult and pediatric populations, which includes ABR and OAE evaluations
Hearing aid selection, verification, and follow up
Maintain all clinical records and charts according to practice protocol
The ability to provide educational audiology and screening services in various offsite settings, as needed
Possible travel to our satellite office in Los Lunas, NM (22 mi.)
The Ideal Cadidate will Demonstrate the Following:
Superior customer service orientation
Strong organization and communication skills (Spanish a plus)
Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a wide range of patients, colleagues, and vendors
The ambition, creativity, and willingness to generate new business by establishing relationships with physicians, therapists, as well as other referring entities
Must be able to problem solve and manage day-to-day operations of the clinic independently.
Continue to develop professionally through continuing education
AuD. or Master’s degree in Audiology
An entry-level candidate may be considered for the right individual
Active or eligible for NM licensure in Audiology and hearing aid dispensing
