Just a short drive southwest of the Seattle metro area, we are seeking an ambitious, upbeat, career-minded audiologist to become an integral member of our growing dynamic private practice in Gig Harbor, Washington. Full-time candidate desired.
The successful candidate will engage with and help improve the lives of our valued patients through better hearing and evidenced-based practice. The audiologist will be selected based on their ability to help us achieve the highest standards of patient-oriented hearing care and to add vitality to our positive business culture through their commitment to continual self-improvement and dedication to a thriving practice. We provide a range of diagnostic audiologic testing for private and VA patients. In addition to administering diagnostic audiologic tests, the successful candidate will be dispensing, fitting, and repairing hearing aids. The audiologist will be involved in public outreach and community education. Most importantly, with regard to test results, the successful candidate will be highly engaging and affable in their approach to counseling and educating patients and to reviewing options that best meet their hearing care needs. Additionally, we are looking for the following skills:
Conduct audiometric testing
Create ear mold impressions
Counsel patients and families on hearing loss and treatment options
Provide recommendations for hearing devices
Dispense, troubleshoot, and repair hearing devices
Educate patients and families on usage and maintenance of hearing devices
Communicate with device manufacturers and suppliers
Establish rapport with and gather history from patients
Document patient information in EMR
Interact professionally with networking physicians and practice staff
Assist with marketing and advertising campaigns
Base salary plus incentives.

Doctorate in Audiology candidates preferred, but practitioners with a Masters degree should apply.
We would prefer applicants have 2-3 years of hearing aid dispensing experience.
American Board of Audiology Certificate or ASHA CCC-A preferred.
Washington State Licensure held or eligible for licensure.
