At Spartanburg & Greer ENT our goal is to provide patients with the highest standard of medical care in a comfortable environment. An equally important goal is to treat patients with the dignity and courtesy that they deserve. Not only do we care for our patients, we care about them.
Our main office is located in Spartanburg, a growing city in Northern South Carolina. Our second office is located in Greer, one of the fastest growing areas of South Carolina. Our practice currently has four physicians, with a fifth joining us in August of 2019.
The extern will work alongside our audiologist to serve patients of all ages at our Spartanburg location.
Responsibilities include assisting with and providing a full range of diagnostic services and hearing tests.
This externship has the potential to become a full time position.
Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
•Audiometric Diagnostic Skill – pediatric and adults •Pure bone, tympanometry, assessing hearing aid needs •Students with ENG/VNG, balance testing experience requested
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
•Patient relationship management •Exposure to a variety of hearing loss-complicated cases •Difficult diagnostics and hearing assessments •Database management •EMR exposure
