We are a growing hearing healthcare practice in Western New York with three office locations and currently seek an Audiologist who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again. The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and have the ability to effectively counsel while building patient rapport. Previous experience with fitting and dispensing hearing aid technology is preferred. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel between three office locations in the townships of Dansville, Hornell, and Wellsville NY. Daily tasks and responsibilities
Establish rapport and gather case history from patients; conduct audiometric testing including tympanometry and otoacoustic emissions; counsel patients; and make recommendations for hearing aids or MD/ENT referrals.
Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments.
Fit and program hearing aids with use of computers, Real Ear equipment and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems.
Maintain documentation and patient files.
See patients for follow-up appointments including hearing aid maintenance, cerumen removal, rehabilitation, and counseling.
Masters Degree in Audiology but Au.D. is preferred.
Active and current hearing aid dispensing license in NY state.
