Allegany Hearing & Balance is looking for a highly motivated team player who wants to work and grow in a busy, progressive, state of the art private practice setting located in the beautiful mountains of Western Maryland. We provide full audiological evals, hearing aids, cochlear implants, some industrials, and full vestibular services including rotary chair. No day is the same. We have a great team who likes to have fun while taking care of our patients. If you are a positive person, like a varied day, like taking exceptional care of your patients, like a fun working environment, and like lots of training, this is the job for you! We have great working relationships with Johns Hopkins Hospital, West Virginia University Medicine, and UPMC in Pittsburgh. We provide services for two local ENT's and many PCP's, in addition to our communities at large. We are also American Institute of Balance affiliates.
Warm interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively with patients and team members
Doctorate in Audiology
Knowledge of vestibular battery including VNG, v-HIT, VEMP, and ECoG. Also willing to train on all of the above including rotary chair
Knowledge of or willingness to learn cochlear implants
Hearing aids/Real Ear
Full audiological battery knowledge is assumed
