The Audiologist is responsible for administering diagnostic audiological tests that allow for the differentiation between types of hearing disorders. The Audiologist will provide hearing aid testing, selection, and fitting to all populations. The Audiologist counsels patients regarding test results and reviews options that best meet their hearing care needs. Reviews pricing and sale of hearing aids as a part of the patient education process. Vestibular testing experience is optional.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Administers Diagnostic Tests
Tympanometry, Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) , Audiological Evaluations, ETD testing and acoustic reflex threshold and tone decay testing.
