Provide pediatric and adult hearing aid consultations, fitting and follow up, including real ear measurements.
Provide written reports regarding the above assessments
Provide preschool hearing screenings for typically developing children
Provide audiologic evaluations to infants and children at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County Craniofacial Panel.
Provide central auditory processing evaluations for private patients and those referred for expert opinion regarding law suits for school age children.
Provide intervention for central auditory processing evaluations, including ARIA, with recommendation for remote microphone hearing aids when indicated
Provide adult audiologic evaluations at hospitals in Orange County.
Maintain hearing aid demonstration hearing aids and hearing aid supplies using in fitting and maintenance
Provide troubleshooting for walk-in hearing aid patients
Maintain patient records appropriately
Provide recommendations for hearing aid selection
Maintain social media marketing efforts
Participate in physician marketing efforts
Participate in IEP meetings at local schools
Participate in school site visits regarding educational audiology needs
Participate in research testing and writing regarding the Pitch Discrimination Test for pediatric patients that Dr. Abramson developed (JAAA 2016).
4th year Au.D. student in good standing.
Plans to complete all Au.D. requirements for graduation.
Travels to reside in Orange County at own expense for the Externship year.
Room and board at own expense within a 30 minute drive of Hear Now office in Laguna Niguel, CA.
