Established ENT practice seeks Audiologist to fill a full time position beginning June 2019. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with diagnostics and fitting hearing devices, as well as working quickly and efficiently in a busy ENT practice. Successful candidates will maintain high professional standards and have excellent interpersonal skills allowing effective relationships with a diverse patient and colleague population.

Comprehensive audiometry, immittance testing, otoacoustic emission testing on adult and pediatric populations
Tympanometry and otoacoustic emission testing on patients under 5 years of age
Perform and interpret accurate otoneurologic auditory brainstem response testing and videonystagmography
Determine candidates for osseointegrated hearing device
Hearing aid dispensing on adult populations, including initial hearing aid consultation, patient education, selection, fitting, and ongoing management with follow-up.
Osseointegrated hearing aid device (Cochler Baha), including consultation, fitting, and ongoing management.
Documentation and Counseling:
Interprets and documents test results, formulates conclusions, and refers appropriately
Consults with and makes recommendations on hearing disorders to physicians
Document results and recommendations on necessary reports/notes, and in electronic medical record software
Counsel and provide education to patient and their families (when appropriate) on all test results and recommendations
Travel to Skokie, IL location Monday and Wednesday mornings with mileage reimbursement
Master of Science required. Doctor of Audiology preferred.
1-2 years of audiology experience preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Active or eligibility for Illinois audiology license
Fluent or conversational in Spanish preferred (not required).
