Seeking a highly-motivated audiologist to work full-time in a busy ENT office/hearing center who has experience with diagnostic testing and hearing aid sales. This audiologist position will require travel between the Denver and Lone Tree locations.
Audiologist Job Responsibilities:
Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services by assessing and treating children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric hearing and balance disorders.
Audiologist Job Duties:
Defining patient hearing impairment and balance disorder; administering vestibular and electrophysiologic and other relevant tests; operating diagnostic equipment; determining type and degree of hearing impairment and effects on comprehension and speech; interpreting audiometric diagnostic data; preparing written diagnostic reports.
Fitting hearing aids; cleaning and maintaining of hearing aids; counseling patients and families.
Evaluating tinnitus and recommending and fitting appropriate therapy
Maintaining patient records by recording and updating evaluations, changes, progress, and treatments in practice wide EMR.
Maintaining legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, and professional standards.
Updating job knowledge by tracking trends in new techniques and approaches; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishing organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Education: Doctorate or Masters of Audiology
Clinical setting: 3+ years
Tinnitus evaluation and treatment experience
Required license or certification:
ASHA and/or AAA preferred but not required
