Oviatt Hearing and Balance, is seeking a candidate for a 4th year audiology position. Oviatt is well respected in the Central New York medical community, receiving thousands of physician referrals each year from primary care physicians, otolaryngologists, and neurologists. We have been leaders in Central New York for diagnostic testing and dispensing of hearing aids for over 30 years. We have grown to four locations and have built a team of select hearing healthcare professionals with a commitment to excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for a 4th year student to be a part of our collaborative team environment as you continue to develop your skillset. We have a proven track record of facilitating students for both clinical rotations and 4th year placements, with many of our students becoming employees after graduation. This position does include compensation.
This is a well rounded and diverse externship. We focus on establishing trust with our patients to encourage a comfortable experience; as a diagnostic and dispensing practice we provide the highest quality services and instruments to our patients. Diagnostic services include pediatric and adult audiological evaluations, central auditory processing evaluations, OAE, and VNG testing. Real ear measures are conducted on all fittings, yielding a high level of satisfaction for our patients.
