Ascent Audiology and Hearing is proud to start taking applications for externs in Nashville,TN! The extern will be exposed to a variety of patients from low income to celebrities working day to day in the practice. The opportunity also includes working with two hearing not-for-profits we represent as board members. This includes weekly sign language courses (if interested) and interaction with the Deaf community. The extern will be in charge of the hearing conservation program that is established with a local artists agency.
Currently enrolled in an accredited AuD program.

-Competence in diagnostics -Prior experience in fitting amplification -Competent in report writing -Experience in counseling adults
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
-Competence in selection and fitting of amplification -Competence in testing pediatrics and in evaluating adults from group home -Autonomously performing diagnostics
