Audiologist needed to join an established, thriving practice.
Experienced audiologist preferred but exceptional fourth year Au.D. students with a desire to work in a private practice may apply. Applicant should have advanced hearing instrument skills and a desire to work closely with patients of all ages for hearing rehabilitation.
Our offices are located in the Finger Lakes Region of Central New York. Enjoy living in a state with four seasons of activities and a close commute to the city of Rochester and Lake Ontario.
Administer diagnostic audiological evaluation, complete written reporting of results. Fit patients with appropriate hearing aids based on their hearing loss, lifestyle, desires and affordability. Provide appropriate follow-up care to all patients and deliver upon all service commitments to our patients. Assist patients with the maintenance of their hearing aids including replacement of batteries and disposable parts, cleaning of devices and provide cerumen management when appropriate. Participate in community events and marketing.
Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) prior to start date
Current NY State licenses in Audiology and Dispensing prior to start date
Must have a National Provider Identifier (NPI) prior to start date
Valid Driver’s License
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Strong communication skills and demonstrated compassion and patience
Critical thinking and problem solving
Willingness to learn and use new computer programs/applications
