Our clinic is offering a 12-month full-time 4th year Au.D. Externship position. The student accepted into this externship can expect experiences in pediatric & adult diagnostic audiology and amplification (adult patients only). The 4th year Audiology student will work directly with the clinic's full-time Doctor of Audiology in conjunction with a busy ENT practice.
The 4th year externship will be a 12-month placement beginning May/June 2020. The student will receive a stipend. Applicants are expected to have health and liability insurance through his/her university and will receive no medical, dental or liability benefits from our clinic.

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
Experience in audiological diagnostic testing (adult and pediatric) to include pure tone audiometry, masking, immittance testing, VRA, otoacoustic emissions, hearing aid repairs/modification, and hearing aid selection/fitting/programming.
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
At the completion of the externship the student should be proficient in the following areas:- Audiological diagnostic testing (adults and pediatrics)- Hearing Aid selection, fitting, & programming- Hearing Aid repairs and modification
