About Hill Country Audiology Service
Hill Country Audiology Service was started in May 1993 by Dr. Kenneth Aspinall soon after his retirement from the US Army Medical Department. In March 2000, Dr. Jeffrey Sirianni, who had been practicing in Kerrville since April 1995 as the staff audiologist for Dr. R. Gordon Delaney, approached Dr. Aspinall seeking to join his practice upon Dr. Delaney’s retirement. To better address family matters, Dr. Aspinall sold the practice to Dr. Sirianni in October 2001, eventually retiring from Hill Country Audiology Service in 2006. In 2012, Dr. Eric Hicks joined the practice first as an extern and then as a staff audiologist. Dr. Hicks worked in the office during the summer of 2009 supporting Dr. Sirianni prior to beginning his graduate program at the University of North Texas. In 2017, Dr. Hicks became a partner of Hill Country Audiology Service.
Ann Barsch Audiology began in 1984 as an independent audiology practice when Ann and her husband, Tim Barsch, DDS, moved to Fredericksburg after practicing in San Antonio and then in Houston. Ann opened her audiology practice alongside her husband’s dental practice and they shared the same building at 510 S. Adams for over 30 years. I...n 2015, Dr. Barsch sold his dental practice allowing him the opportunity to continue practicing dentistry, but on a less-than full-time basis. Seeing her husband’s new-found freedom and flexibility, Ann began her search for an audiologist interested in purchasing her audiology practice. Having very high standards, and concern for the welfare of her existing patients, Ann agreed to sell her practice to Drs. Sirianni and Hicks and in January 2017 the sale was finalized. Mrs. Barsch will remain practicing on a part-time basis along with Dr. Hicks who splits his time between the two offices.
