Chelmsford Hearing Group is seeking a talented audiology student who is interested in providing diagnostic and therapeutic audiology services for pediatrics and adult populations.
Our staff is trained in the latest hearing technology and offers a state-of-the-art hearing aid selection, and we work in close collaboration with local ENT’s to provide superior audiological and hearing aid services.

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
Air conduction, bone conduction, masking, OAE, tympanometry, VRA
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Pediatric testing, hearing aid selection and candidacy, time management
Clinical opportunities that will be given to the extern:
Pediatric evaluations: infant/toddler
Pediatric evaluations: school-age
Adult hearing evaluations
Auditory processing evaluations
Evoked potential assessments
Intra-operative monitoring cases
Hearing aids dispensed
Hearing aid selection/fitting
Audiologic rehabilitation (group or individualized)
Cochlear implant evaluations
Cochlear implant rehabilitation
