Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel in Portland OR is seeking a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) student for a 12-month, pediatric externship. Hours are from 28-40/week, depending on if the student wishes to split their time with another site.
We provide both diagnostics and treatment for patients from birth to 21 years of age and at all levels of development. Services include: electrophysiologic testing (sedated and non-sedated), pediatric behavioral testing (CPA/VRA), hearing aids, and bone conduction devices.
We work closely with other professionals, both on a daily basis, and in our multidisciplinary clinics that include craniofacial and neuro-oncology clinic.
Ideal applicants should have some previous experience with pediatrics and have a strong interest in specializing in this aspect of audiology.
If interested, selected extern will have the opportunity to observe vestibular testing (ROTO, ECoG, ENG/VNG, Vemp, platform posturography) )at our sister facility.
