Looking for a 4th Year Au.D. Extern. We are an ENT office with 2 locations. 1 full time office is in Wesley Chapel, FL and the other is a part time office in Zephyrhills, FL. We have an ENT (owner), PA, and Audiologist on staff. We currently do diagnostic hearing test, hearing aids, tinnitus treatment, and treat for BPPV. We are a unique office with a great working relationship with ENT and Audio.
Extern would have own schedule and will assist with marketing, billing, charting, and all other clinic duties. Great opportunity to learn and grow business knowledge, as well as hearing aid and clinic skills.
Quick learner, good with patients, desire to learn and grow audiology skills, and ability to work in fast paced ENT setting.

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
Competent at diagnostic testing, some balance experience/knowledge, some hearing aid experience and basic knowledge.
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Fine tune diagnostic knowledge and speed, further knowledge on hearing aids and dispensing, greater understand of marketing and business side of audiology, and possible VNG experience.
