Audiology Associates Hearing Center provides a holistic approach to hearing healthcare for our community. Our clinic delivers a variety of services to the hearing impaired of all ages.
The perfect extern candidate will provide diagnostic hearing testing, hearing aid selection and fitting to all populations. They will counsel patients regarding the test results and review treatment options, which best meet the patient’s hearing care needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring audiologist to work in a dynamic and patient-centric private audiology practice!

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
Basic understanding of: HIPAA, hearing aid technology, troubleshooting and fitting hearing aids, sales process, patient counseling. Must be able to: Obtain patient history, perform hearing tests and checks, participate in patient consults and provide options, write reports efficiently, manage their time effectively, pay attention to details.
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Cerumen management, diagnostic audiology, hearing aid evaluations/consultation, advance report writing skills, obtain a thorough case history, repair and service hearing aids, aural rehab, participate in marketing and physician referral activities.
