The University of South Dakota is accepting applications for a full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure-track clinical assistant professor for the Audiology program in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Qualifications and Responsibilities: Au.D. or Au.D./Ph.D. in audiology and possession of or eligibility for South Dakota state licensure in audiology. Applicants are preferred to possess or hold the qualification necessary for ASHA CCC-A and/or ABA Certification. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an audiologist is required. Experience with a wide range of clinical populations is desired. The ideal candidate will be an engaging educator and committed to a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities include serving as audiology clinic coordinator, audiology internship coordinator, audiology externship coordinator, and supervision of audiology clinical practicum. Some teaching in the doctorate in audiology and undergraduate in communication sciences and disorders, either face-to-face or online, is expected. The individual in this position will provide a range of audiology clinical services to clients of the Vermillion Scottish Rite Speech-Language-Hearing Center. Responsibilities also include service on departmental, college, university, and related committees. Salary is commensurate with qualifications.
