The applicant will provide audiologic services to adult and pediatric patients in the Communication Disorders Clinic under the supervision of an experienced, ASHA-certified audiologist. Primary responsibilities will include adult comprehensive hearing evaluations and hearing aid fittings, and participation in community outreach programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an interest in serving a rural population in Western NC and contributing to the development of new programs within an inter-professional clinical setting.
We have a brand new facility, with all new equipment, including ABR. We have also started remote CI programming in conjunction with UNC-Chapel Hill.
Applicant must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year Doctor of Audiology program, and must have completed all program requirements other than the final internship prior to the start date of the position.
