It hosts a variety of numerous restaurants, art galleries, shops, theaters, live music, breweries, and annual festivals all within the Downtown area alone! It is also home to hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, 4-wheeling, camping, and many other outdoor activities; something for everyone. With a thriving economy, wonderful school district with several private school options, the ever-growing Colorado Mesa University, and many outdoor parks and recreation options, Grand Junction is also a wonderful place to raise children.
We are looking for a skilled, outgoing, motivated audiology 4th year extern interested in working in and learning in a private practice setting in conjunction with a close tie to ENT services. This position will be very much designed for the "bread and butter" extern looking to hone their diagnostic skills related to audiometry and VNG, as well as treatment of hearing loss, hyperacusis, tinnitus, and TBI.
This audiologist position will be working closely with 3 ENTs in a well-established ENT and Audiology Clinic within a hospital setting as well as in an established private practice setting with satellite clinics.
Current 4th year Audiology Extern at accredited University
Analytical mindset to build upon skillset and become autonomous as an audiologist
Understanding of protocol to get diagnostic testing completed in an efficient manner with reliable results
Confident demeanor representing themselves as a hearing healthcare professional
Excels in ethical hearing aid sales or is willing to develop these skills
Works well by themselves, also plays well with others
Basic word processing, office, and computer skills
Willing to expand upon current knowledge to increase skill level
