We are open to exploring "off cycle" placement needs with a start date between November 2019 and February 2020. Our three positions starting May 2020 have been filled.
Hearing Evaluation Services (HES) is one of the largest freestanding not-for-profit audiology practices in the United States. We are committed to providing superior, ethical solutions for the hearing and balance impaired. We believe in advancing the field of audiology by ensuring that our staff of 14 AuDs are actively engaged in program development to better serve our patient population and the greater medical community.
HES has four of our own offices where we see adult and pediatric patients for comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings and follow-up, ABRs, VNGs, cochlear implants, industrial testing, ototoxic monitoring and tinnitus evaluation and treatment. We also provide audiometric evaluations at 3 offices for a large ENT practice. HES also staffs the Dizziness and Balance Clinic at the Dent Neurologic Institute, the largest outpatient neurology clinic in the United States. At the Dent, we perform audiometric evaluations, VNGs, electrophysiology testing, rotary chair testing, and computerized dynamic Posturography.
HES has a long history of training future audiologists and has been training 4th year externs since 2006. Externs work alongside a variety of doctoral level audiologists with exposure to nearly every aspect of audiology. We offer the unique opportunity to work in a private practice setting for diagnostic and hearing aid services while also providing ENT experience and high level vestibular testing experience often only found in hospital settings.
This is a diverse and rigorous placement. Successful applicants are self-motivated, detail oriented, take direction well, take pride in their work, and enjoy building rapport with patients and colleagues. At HES, we believe in absolute accountability and always doing the right thing.
