Vero ENT Associates, a large well established Medical and Audiology practice is currently accepting applications for a 2020 - 2021 Audiology Externship. Our practice, located on the East Coast of Florida, takes pride in establishing meaningful relationships with our patients, which is reflected in our top of the line facilities and employees.
The candidate must be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills and must be able to perform all diagnostic and balance testing, including OAE's and VNG's.
Knowledge in the selection and fitting of hearing aids is important as well as having excellent counseling skills. The candidate must be comfortable with pediatric adult and senior patients.

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
Competently perform all diagnostic evaluations Strong knowledge in hearing aids Counseling skills for patients of all ages Knowledge of Vestibular Assessment (VNG)
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Provide a full range of audiology services to a diverse patient population. Perform hearing aid consultations, evaluations, fitting, counseling and verification
