The Hearing Place located in Oak Park is looking for a student who desires a great deal of hearing aid and industrial experience. The extern will be performing screenings, diagnostics, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, hearing aid follow-ups and noise level surveys. We offer an hourly wage ~$20,000/year.

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
- Knowledge of audiological concepts - Must have completed 2-3 years of AuD degree - Basic computer skills - Ability to work on a team
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
-Mastery of comprehensive audiometric evaluation -Mastery of hearing aid evaluations, fittings and adjustments -Mastery of real ear verification measurements -Confidence working independently with patients
