A highly motivated and experienced Audiologist to develop and oversee a very busy Clinical Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing service.
Patient services offered include routine audiometry, advanced audiometric testing techniques, cochlear implant evaluation and programming, vestibular testing and hearing aid dispensing.
The Chief Audiologist will assume responsibility for the Audiology Division.
Responsibilities include facilitating the development, implementation, and on-going enhancement of the Audiology Division (clinical, academic, research missions).
Drive revenue opportunity creation, growth and organizational development through daily active hands-on management of staff and the achievement of the organization's key performance indicators.
Manage and coordinate patient schedule enhancement programs, establish and coordinate effective sales training programs.
Establish and implement strategies to address and correct variances to key performance indicators.
Constantly coach and observe staff to ensure their development and success.
Manage the audiology budget. Foster positive and professional interpersonal relationships with patients, families, physicians, administration, hospital staff, community agency representatives.
Support clinical education guidelines for Audiology Externship. Develop research protocols in collaboration with physician providers.
Support interdisciplinary as well as interdepartmental collaborative practice.
Requires PhD or AuD in Audiology or related field.
Seven or more years of audiology clinical experience.
Two to three years of experience in an audiology leadership role.
Significant knowledge of the operations of a busy ENT/Audiology/Hearing device dispensing practice.
Have a demonstrated history of driving top line growth and experience managing a variety of positions including sales functions and clinical positions.
True passion for building (entrepreneurial spirit, drive to execute, results-oriented). Eligibility to obtain Georgia State Audiology license prior to start date.
ASHA certification. Ability to be credentialed by Emory University Hospital Medical Staff Office and obtain faculty level appointment with the Emory University School of Medicine.
