The Georgia Hearing Institute is an affiliate of The ENT Center of Central Georgia. Our practice consists of audiology, otolaryngology, allergy and surgery. The residency position provides students the opportunity to learn in all areas from doctoral level audiologists and nose and throat physicians. The position rotates experiences between our Macon and Warner Robins locations. Residents will become competent in the following areas: traditional and extended wear hearing options, implantable solutions such as cochlear implants and bone conduction devices, diagnostic audiometric evluations, VNG, ABR, custom products, and APD evaluations.

We expect students to have mastered audiometric testing on adults along with knowledge of tympanometric testing and otoscopy.

Residents will become completely competent in diagnostic audiology for pediatrics to adults, immittance testing, VNG, ABR, hearing aids, cochlear implants and Baha.

The Georgia Hearing Institute is a full service audiological facility. We are associated with The ENT Center of Central Georgia and provide physician directed care for all of our patients. We specialize in comprehensive audiologic evaluation across the lifespan (newborn to adult), hearing aids, cochlear implants, bone anchored hearing devices, electrophysiologic testing, vestibular evaluations, and more. Our board certified staff of otolaryngologists and doctors of audiology are dedicated to providing the highest quality in hearing health care for patients who require rehabilitation through amplification, management or treatment. We have two offices that are fully equiped to handle any hearing problem. Our main office is located in Macon with our second office in Warner Robins.
