The Hearing and Speech Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, located in the heart of San Francisco, that is dedicated to supporting deaf and hard of hearing individuals. The Center takes a holistic approach to hearing healthcare through a comprehensive set of programs addressing clinical, educational, and social needs. Services offered include audiology, speech therapy, individual and family counseling, support groups, educational programs, and community outreach. Our audiology department is comprised of seven clinicians, two externs, an audiology assistant, and clinical practice manager. Specialties include tinnitus, hyperacusis, electrophysiology (ABR), pediatrics, and adult diagnostics and amplification. The mission of the Hearing and Speech Center is to provide personalized healthcare to every individual who walks through the door regardless of financial, educational, or communication barriers.
All applications must be complete and received by September 16th, 2020. Once received, applicants will be notified as to whether or not they have been selected to move forward with an interview. This year, interviews will take place via Zoom. While we typically welcome applicants to come and visit our clinic, due to the COVID pandemic, we recognize this may not be possible. We hope to make final decisions for 4th year placements by mid-November. Thank you and we look forward to meeting you!
