The University of Missouri Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery is pleased to offer one 12-month, full-time 4th year audiology externship in our ENT, Hearing, & Balance Center and ENT & Allergy Center of Missouri clinics in Columbia, MO. This externship position will be a well-rounded ENT experience with patients of all ages in the areas of:
cochlear implant candidacy, assessment, programming, and follow-up
amplification evaluation, fitting, and follow-up (traditional and osseointegrated devices)
newborn hearing screening.
Applications must be received by October 1, 2020 for the externship beginning June 2021. Interviews to be conducted after October 1, 2020 . Requirements include the completion of the 3rd year of an accredited audiology program, mastery of clinical diagnostics, and familiarity with amplification, cochlear implants, and vestibular diagnostics.
