Southwest Idaho Hearing & Balance (ENT) has an opening for an externship position to begin May 2021 ending May 2022. Our clinic provides a wide range of clinical experiences including: adult and pediatric diagnostics, hearing aids, comprehensive balance and vestibular evaluations (VNG, VEMP, vHIT, Posturography, Fistula), ABR, oseointegrated hearing aids, etc. Additionally, we anticipate that the student will be able to observe our physicians in the OR as they perform otologic surgery. As audiologists at Southwest Idaho Hearing & Balance, we enjoy a large amount of autonomy and have a great working relationship with the SWIENT physicians and medical providers in the community.
The ideal applicant is an AuD student who is hard working, adaptable, self-motivated, has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for audiology. The position will be competitively paid and begin in May 2021. Southwest Idaho Hearing and Balance is a department of Southwest Idaho Ear, Nose and Throat located in Boise & Nampa Idaho.
