Audiology of Tulsa is a busy multi-audiologist private practice. Scope of practice includes diagnostic evaluation for pediatrics and adults, VNGs, ABRs, amplification for adults, and cerumen management.
Completion of university required courses needed for 4th year externship. Full-time position. Comprehensive understanding of diagnostic testing for pediatrics and adults required.

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
Basic diagnostic evaluations including masking. Basic understanding of hearing aid function, cleaning, programming. Basic VNG class, but experience not required.
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Speed and efficiency for diagnostic testing. ABR and VNG evaluations and recommendations. Hearing aid consultations, hearing aid fitting, and aural rehabilitation. Cerumen management. Understanding of billing and coding.
