4th year Audiology Externship at a busy VA Medical Center providing diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid fitting and programming, tinnitus management, and aural rehab. Working with adults and elderly.
4th year Audiology student in good standing, attending a reputable University.

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
Performing accurate diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid fitting and programming, basic trouble shooting/repair of hearing aids, counseling experience.
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Experience in hearing evaluations, hearing aid fitting and programming, counseling, helping Veterans.

No Cerumen management depends on level of experience, training provided.
