Texas ENT and Allergy is a full-service and independent Ear, Nose and Throat, Allergy and Audiology private practice for adults and children. We have a dedicated team of professionals who dispense a complete line of hearing aids and other assistive listening devices, diagnose and treat hearing loss, and perform cochlear implant evaluations.

Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Over the course of this rotation, students are expected to become proficient with VNG, Cochlear Implants, ABR, advance skills with hearing aids, testing patients of all ages, including tough to test populations.
Clinical opportunities that will be given to the extern:
Pediatric evaluations: infant/toddler
Pediatric evaluations: school-age
Adult hearing evaluations
Auditory processing evaluations
Evoked potential assessments
Intra-operative monitoring cases
Hearing aids dispensed
Hearing aid selection/fitting
Audiologic rehabilitation (group or individualized)
Cochlear implant evaluations
Cochlear implant rehabilitation
